My latest creative programming project: Inspired by what happens to useful information in the deluge that is the Internet's 24-hour/7-day news cycle, I've been working on creating an automated Dadaist/Absurdist news service. I've (temporarily) got the “Breaking News” feed up and running as a Wordpress blog. It's an experiment/experience: Dada News (Beta)
The full version of this will be more extensive, using different algorithmic strategies for generating different types of article. It will be set up to offer everything a major news service offers, minus any sort of rational sense.
